The article discusses the broader issues of liturgical music, indicating tensions between musical and liturgical legislation and pastoral everyday life. An important part of the article is an attempt to express some hopes that can be associated with Pope Francis’ ministry and his new vision of pastoral care, which the Bishop of Rome defined in the Apostolic Exhortation Evangelii gaudium.

Among the sacraments that their ordinances were renewed as a result and order of the Second Vatican Council, the sacrament of Marriage was one of them. The new celebration of the this sacrament was to active that the rite „more clearly point out sacraments grace and duties of the spouses”. An integral part of the solemn celebration is music. It’s main task is to „sing” with the word and sound the mystery that is the core of Marriage – the spousal love of Christ to His Church.
